Quantum information science and artificial intelligence are two of the defining scientific revolutions of our time, and they are beginning to reshape each other. As quantum devices scale up and AI systems grow more capable, the richest opportunities lie at their intersection: (AI for quantum) using machine intelligence to design, control, and understand quantum systems, and (quantum for AI) using quantum resources to expand what learning machines can do. We call this emerging frontier quantum intelligence.

The International Conference on Quantum Intelligence (ICQI) is founded as the meeting point for this convergence, bringing leading theorists and experimentalists from both communities into one room. It grows out of two earlier meetings — the 1st Workshop on Quantum Intelligence (December 2025, http://qai2025.cpsjournals.cn/) and the Quantum Computing and Quantum Many-Body Computation conference (June 2026, http://qcqmbc2026.cpsjournals.cn/) — which are now merged into this single, larger conference. Launched as a recurring series, ICQI aims to become the premier annual gathering where the quantum–AI frontier is defined, and a lasting platform for open dialogue between the quantum and AI communities.

The program spans two themes. AI for Quantum — quantum statistical learning theory, AI-assisted quantum optimal control, machine learning for quantum error correction, AI-driven algorithm design and circuit compilation, and neural approaches to quantum many-body physics. Quantum for AI — quantum machine learning, quantum-inspired models, and variational quantum algorithms.

We warmly invite you to join us in Beijing, July 6–9, 2027.
